Thanksgiving 2011...Papa's back!! :)

These little girls were super excited about Thanksgiving because they knew when it was Thanksgiving day...that Papa would be here!!
Here they are that morning...waiting for Papa and looking oh so cute :)

My sweet Allie....
Daddy was excited to have someone to throw the football with him....by the time Thanksgiving rolled around, he had been surrounded by me, the girls, my mom, my grandma, my sister-in-law and Miss Jill for about 2 weeks...he was in desperate need of some man time ;)

It was a very pretty day outside...so we took the bounce house outside to play!

Lucky for Russell, Papa was happy to play some football with him....
Until he got attacked by Marissa and her pile of leaves!

These girls loooooove their Papa. :)

Allie doesn't stray too far from his side...

NeeNee got some snuggle time with Marissa before our big Thanksgiving meal....which was incredible thanks to NeeNee!

Papa makes a great jungle gym...he's such a trooper :)

Haha. Get him Allie!

Time to go for a ride!

The girls got to do a little painting with NeeNee!

And McCoy got to do a little flying with Mommy...I love Allie's face in this picture, so sweet! :)

Mr. Serious....he was probably mad because he couldn't eat any of the yummy food we had...I know I would be... Next year, McCoy...  :)

Loving on Baby McCoy and other fun stuff....

These big sisters love their little brother so much....
These pictures are some of my favorites....I love how much they love him. :)

These next couple of pictures are of Russell and the girls on their way to Disney On Ice in Birmingham! They had a little date night, complete with dinner at Chick-fil-a and great seats to see all their favorite Princesses ice skating!! They had a blast :)

In November, we had a wonderful surprise visit from my other favorite kiddos, the Johnson clan! They are getting so big...it's hard to believe Cooper was just 2 months old when I met them. McKane is now 8, Riese is 7 and Cooper is 5. We had so much fun with them and Riese loved holding baby McCoy!

Lastly, a few pictures of my little man.....
This is probably his favorite position right now...his hands are always in fists...Gail says this is what Russell did when he was a baby, like father like son. :)
Chillin' in the boppy.
And this was such a lucky picture...on Thanksgiving morning he started really smiling for the first time, so I grabbed my phone and started taking pictures, hoping I would get lucky and get a good one. Well...as you can see, I got a great one!! Such a sweet, sweet smile!! He is such a happy baby :)

McCoy's visitors!

So I just realized I'm not totally staying in order, but at least I'm getting them done!...I'm going a couple weeks back from Halloween with some more pictures from McCoy's birth!

We had lots of sweet friends come to visit us in the hospital...unfortunately I didn't get pictures of everyone, but here are a few I did remember to take! :)

NeeNee and her grandson #2. She's a very proud grandma....the only person missing was Papa :(  We so wish he could have been there with us to celebrate--we all love having Papa around!

Big Sister's first time to hold baby McCoy...she was so excited but a little timid. I think she couldn't believe he was actually here...she knew he was in my belly, but to actually see and hold him was very exciting for her!

I love this picture so much. She looks so big and grown up and so proud of her little brother.

Our first picture as a family of 5....this was about 2 hours after McCoy was born.

This picture makes me smile....Allie was asking me something about McCoy and Russell and Marissa just looking at him....so sweet :)

Haha. Oh Allie, she wasn't so sure about holding baby McCoy all by herself....

The next day we had a whole bed full of visitors! Bryce and Avery came to see McCoy...or "Baby Coy" as Avery calls him :)

Bryce has agreed to show McCoy the ropes on how to be a big boy....he told me the other day that he was going to show him how to wrestle :) (Layne..I think I forgot to tell you that...it was so funny!)

Daddy got a little alone time with his little man :)

And the winners for longest drive to visit McCoy went to Pops and Nana! The hopped in the car and drove all the way from Texas to see their grandson #2! Here is Nana loving on McCoy :)
Pops and sweet McCoy :)

Thank you to everyone who came to visit us :) It meant so much to know that all of you were celebrating McCoy's arrival as well!!

Halloween 2011

Ok, so I'm still trying to catch up...I am determined to keep these posts in order...

With that said...we are on to Halloween!!

The girls and I went on a hayride one sunny and hot fall day....here they are posing with the silly witch in our front yard.
Showing off their pumpkins and red, sweaty faces.
The kids and their pumpkins!

A few days after I had McCoy, Russell thought it would be fun to get the girls out of the house and take them up to Mount Cheaha State Park. At the last minute, McCoy and I decided to tag along. It was our first outing as a family of five...we had a great time!
We stopped at an overlook and took this sweet picture of the girls.
Daddy and his girls and their hiking sticks!

My 3 sweet babies! McCoy did great and slept the whole time in the bjorn. :)

Next up was the Halloween party at the Country Club and Trick-or treating! This halloween was extra special because Heather (my sister-in-law) and Kaden came to visit us! We had a wonderful time with Ariel, Tinkerbell and Superman!! :)

On Halloween night, Marissa was sooooo excited to have red hair just like the real Ariel!!

Tinkerbell has a pretty big appetite these days as you can see by the gigantic slice of pizza. (and no, that's not her beer in the background...lovely, I know.)

Once everyone got their hair painted and their tummies full of pizza...we were off to trick-or-treat!! The weather was perfect and the kids were so excited! The rest of these photos were taken by my super talented sister-in-law, Heather! Thanks Heather!! :)

SOOO Excited to get some candy!! I love Kaden's face in this picture :)

Our first house!
We met up with Peter Pan, Spiderman, Supergirl and another super cute Tinkerbell!

The Tinkerbells!

They kept going til it was dark....and had a blast! And my princess Ariel was a true princess...she kept her high heels on the entire night....ahhh...the price of beauty! ;)
And when we returned home...we found McCoy sleeping peacefully, thanks to the amazing Miss Jill. I don't know what I would do without her... :)
