Hello, my name is....

McCoy. You haven't seen me very much on here and my mommy is very sorry about that. I know she tries to sit down and blog sometimes, but then I get hungry or my sisters start fighting, or I fall and bonk my head....it's pretty crazy around here these days. I think a lot of times my sisters and I are trying to see who can be the loudest. Marissa usually wins but I definitely give it my all. Anyway, I am almost 10 months old, which mommy and daddy never can believe. I don't know why....they say time moves too quickly. I wish it would move a little faster so this tooth would come in, it hurts and makes me very fussy and whiny. I also know that if time went by faster, I could start running after my sisters! I am already trying out this whole walking thing, and doing pretty darn good if you ask me. I can take about 10-15 steps before I wise up and realize how much faster I could go if I would just keep crawling. So, I'll stick with crawling for now. You should see my knees...I have the coolest red marks on them from crawling everywhere. I think they make me look tougher. My daddy says I have to be tough because I'll probably be a big football player...I already weigh 23 pounds and wear clothes that an 18 month old would wear. Pretty impressive, huh?! Well, like I said, since mommy is so busy, I thought I would just do this blog thing myself and show you some pictures of McCoy, that's me, from the past several months. I know you'll like them because I'm  very cute...or at least that's what everyone says when they see me :) I know these pictures are a little out of order...but, give me a break, I'm just a baby. I did my best!

I'm about 2 months old here. Mommy would put me in the bjorn when she took Marissa and Allie to the park. I guess that was a good time to take a nap... :)
Here I am taking another nap. Mommy says I get that from my daddy, we both like to take naps!
Miss Jill took these pictures of me! I love her and love to make silly faces for her! She laughs at me a lot. I hear that's a good thing...ladies like funny guys.
This was my first trip to the beach. It was ok, kinda hot and sandy, but I had fun in this little pool mommy got for me.
Napping, again. I was not happy this day....daddy and mommy made me stay in that yucky ol' car seat for 13 hours!! But, it was very exciting to get to see Pops and Nana and all my family in Texas. I really miss all of them!
I finally figured out what these legs are for! This car was my favorite thing to help me stand....see how happy I am!!?
Papa got me this really cool shirt from San Antonio. I don't know where that is, but, as you can see, I really liked that shirt!
Oh man, I was little in this picture. Gosh, that seems like so long ago. I couldn't even crawl then. Mommy calls those the good ol' days. I don't really know why though....I think she likes chasing me all over the house. I know I think it's fun!
So the day I wore this shirt, daddy kept saying something about a "force" being with me and something about Luke and his father. I don't know....he's pretty silly!!
Here I am in that silly jumperoo they always tried to put me in. I wasn't a big fan of it because it kept me in just one spot. I don't really like to be confined to one spot...I need to roam. At least I had this cool hat on that MawMaw gave me. Too bad my head is too big for it now. Mommy says I have a big head like my daddy. :)
Man, now I see what everyone is saying....I am a handsome little dude.
Yeee-hawww!! That swing was so much fun!

Well, it's time for me to take a nap. Thanks for stopping by...I'll be back soon!!

Sisterly Love Part 9....Pedicure Time!

It's been a while since we've had a "sisterly love" post (well....it's been a while since we've had any posts....) so I thought I would share with you something fun they did together a couple of months ago. These days, Marissa and Allie are pretty much inseparable, so whatever one does the other wants to do. And ever since Marissa went to get her special pedicure last year, she has been begging me to take her back to get another one. I told her that they are only for very special occasions, but if she wanted, mommy would be happy to give her one just like her special one! And of course, since Marissa wanted one, so did Allie. :)

So that's what we did! I set them up in front of their favorite show, Max and Ruby, got them some bowls with warm water and got to work. Luckily their sweet little feet didn't need a lot of scrubbing, but they sure enjoyed it :)
Exited for pedicures and Max and Ruby!

Silly faces!!

All done! Sweet smiles and pretty toes! :)
Marissa decided she wanted her fingernails done also...Allie was done sitting still at this point...

The finished product...complete with a fancy purple flower and polka dots!

Happy New Year!

These pictures were taken the first week in January....2012 is looking pretty great :)
We've got our little helper and our sweet baby boy....

And silly Allie :)

Christmas 2011

Daddy and McCoy in their Christmas outfits :)

Christmas Eve we had the Allen's over for what turned out to be a little bit of a chaotic evening....but we still had fun! Poor Allie broke out in a strange rash all over her body so I was trying to take care of her and I'm pretty sure McCoy was crying...Thank goodness the Allen's are such great and understanding friends....In the meantime, Layne took the other 3 kiddos out to feed the reindeer!

And she got some super cute pictures of Bryce, Marissa and Avery :)

I guess the reindeer were extra hungry this year because they used up all of the oats.
After the reindeer food....we came in to make some cookies for santa!

Bryce and Avery were having a great time! I love this picture :)  So funny!

The next morning, Santa came a brought Jesse and Woody costumes!! Along with lots of other goodies!

And some Ariel hair accessories...

Woody and Princess Ariel

Having a tea party! :)

McCoy was enjoying his rainforest playmat!

This may be one of the best pictures ever :) That is some serious posing!

My sweet babies on Christmas morning!

So, so sweet.

Such a great picture!! No one is crying! :)

These two loved meeting Santa!

Family pic...McCoy was done by this point!
After Santa, it was time to head home to help Daddy with the lights for the oustide tree!

McCoy, Texas and I stayed inside :)
Everybody pitched in at first...

However, Allie soon found something more interesting.
But Marissa was faithful to help Daddy til they were all done!

3rd Birthday for Allie Joy!

Our little Allie turned 3 back in December, and we had a wonderful time celebrating with her that day! It started off with a trip to the Donut shop (and, unfortunately, no pictures...) but she got her usual sprinkle donut and only ate the icing off the top :) Then, later that night-the real party started!! Pops, Nana and Aunt Jessica drove in from Texas, and The Allen's and NeeNee came over to help us celebrate 3 years with the sweetest, curly-headed little girl I know!

We cannot imagine life without silly Allie...she brings such joy and laughter to our family. She and Marissa are pretty much joined at the hip these days...but they are so very different. Allie loves to be the center of attention and knows no strangers...she will talk to anyone, anytime! She is always doing something to try to make us laugh, like a silly dance or a silly face. She loves Woody and Buzz from Toy Story and Alvin and the "chick"monks (as she calls them), her hair is always crazy but on her...it works :) and her smile is infectious. She is our sweet, silly Allie and we are so thankful for her! Here are some fun pictures from her birthday party!
The birthday girl with two of her most favorite people!

Very excited about those cupcakes!

These 4 have a blast together!!

Buzz and Woody cupcakes!

If this picture doesn't make you smile.....nothing will :) Look at that sweet little face.

It's cupcake time!!!

And, of course, a Nichols' birthday party isn't complete unless there is a cookie cake!! Nana and Allie's birthdays are only 3 days apart, so we did a double celebration!

Amazing. Seriously, what else can I say about this picture?

PRESENTS!!

McCoy and Aunt Jess spent a little quality time together during the party :)

Allie got some more fun train tracks!

McCoy! He loves to just hang out on the floor, watching all the action going on around him!

The best way to end your birthday? According to Allie, in your halloween jammies while Aunt Jess reads you a story!

We love you Allie! Happy 3rd birthday sweet girl!!
